Turn every campaign into a follow-up list with tracked links

A report that says "43 clicks" gives you nothing to do next. AutoCampaign.ai gives each campaign recipient their own tracked link — a Smart Link — so SMS link tracking tells you which contacts clicked, not just how many. The short link also keeps your message inside a single text.

What is SMS link tracking?

SMS link tracking shortens a long URL into a short tracked link, then records who clicked it and when. For businesses that send text campaigns, it turns a delivery report into engagement data: instead of a click total, you get the names of the contacts who showed interest.

Benefits

Every send produces a ranked follow-up list

In a campaign, each recipient's Smart Link is unique to them, so the click report is a list of names — who clicked, and when they first and last did. Open any contact and see every link they've clicked, before you reply or pick up the phone.

Campaigns show clicks next to delivery

Delivery tells you the message arrived; clicks tell you someone cared. Every campaign shows both together, with daily click stats that reveal when interest actually peaks — so you learn the right hour for the next send.

Clicks become your next audience

Group the contacts who clicked into a Smart Segment and send the follow-up to people who already raised their hand. Click data stops sitting in a report and starts choosing your audience.

The plan

How it works

  1. 1

    Smart Link

Add your link to a campaign message — it becomes a Smart Link: a short tracked link carrying a unique token for each recipient.

  2. 2

    QR code

Put the same link in print by downloading its QR code; scans resolve the same link and are recorded as scans.

  3. 3

    Link report

Open the link report for daily click stats, where clicks come from — city and device — and the contact-by-contact click list: the names worth a follow-up today.

Success looks like

Use cases

Restaurants

A QR code on every table tent points at the weekend special. Scan counts next to text-tap counts finally settle whether the print run earns its keep.

Real estate agents

Each listing text carries its own tracked link. The contacts who clicked are the buyer list for that property — worth a call before the weekend open house.

Fitness studios

The class-signup link shows clicks peaking in the evening, so the studio moves its send time to match. The members who clicked become the segment for the next class announcement.

The click report is a call list.

Can I see exactly who clicked, or just totals?

Both. In campaigns, every recipient gets a unique link, so the report lists which contacts clicked and when — and each contact's page shows every link they've ever clicked. Standalone links created outside a campaign report total and unique clicks for placements like a bio or a flyer.

Do QR code scans get tracked too?

Yes. Any Smart Link can generate a QR code as a downloadable image. A scan resolves the same link as a tap and is recorded as a scan, so one report compares your printed placements with your text campaigns.
